Site Tip VIDEO: Extra uses for painters’ gloves and painters’ tape

Canadian Contractor

These two tips are especially useful for residential house painters

Canadian Contractor publisher Rob Koci never ceases to amaze us with his “extra ways to use (fill in the blank)” tools and accessories.

In this 2-minute video, Rob shows us an extra way to use painters’ gloves (whether they are latex, vinyl or some other substance). Hint: This tip comes in handy on coffee breaks, lunch breaks and any other time you need to put your brush down for at least 10 minutes.

Not satisfied with just that amazing tip, alone, Rob moves on to give us another technique. He advises that you should almost always throw OUT those little paper templates that come with items you want to hang on a wall. Instead, you should use painters’ tape  in the manner shown, to make your own template.

If you think you can do better than these tips (!) from Rob, send your own tip(s) to spayne@canadiancontractor.ca. If we feature yours in a video, we will send you a $50 gas card.
